A Daily Struggle

I am a grown woman, a daughter, a wife and a mother.

I keep house, kiss boo-boos, do laundry, buy groceries, change diapers, give baths, cook dinner, pack lunches and juggle finances, doctor's appointments and a full-time job.

I remember birthdays, meetings and playdates.  I forget how tired I am.

You can't scare me...I teach kindergarten.

I've seen it all....I'm a mother.

I'm family first...and second...and third.  And myself last.

I'm no-nonsense, do-what-has-to-be-done, tough-as-nails on the outside.

But on the inside....

On the inside I will always be a little girl who needs her mommy.
